Shiek Studios Live 3 Day Intensive comes to DETROIT!

This class is for actors on all levels. By usage of improvs, and a variety of exercises founded by the principals of the different methods of acting, Lee Strasberg, Stanford Meisner, Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, and Michael Chekhov, actors will learn how to be more specific in the work.
By focusing on the Who? What? When? Where? Why? and How? of the character, actors are aligning themselves with making stronger choices in the Character Development phase. Understanding with clarity the dialogue and scenes written in the script, gives levels and truth to the work. Allowing actors to efficiently, and creatively tell the character's story.
Deepening the work, and making stronger choices is one of many things that has Shiekstudios actors standing out!

Camera Technique
Shiek Studios classes are some of the most intense, informative and fun filled classes around. Every actor works. Shiek leads actors through several exercises that help to free actors up from the intellectual binding that that stifles their creative process.
Actors are taught a strong acting technique, how to break down scripts, how to dissect and understand the psychology of the character's mind. Actors are taught how to personalize the work and allow the character to live through them, how to understand the writers thoughts through scene study, script analysis. Actors are taught how to internalize the work. the business of acting.

Shiek Studios Workshops are for the actors that are passionate and serious about being a consistently working actor. If you not only want the job but want to do great work, you have to actually to do the work.
